Nappy Trials

If you are expecting a baby this year why not opt to give birth at Penrice Midwife-led Birthing Unit?

As well as providing fantastic care for you and your family, you can put your precious new arrival straight into a lovely, soft cotton nappy! While you stay in the unit you will be provided with as many nappies as you need, staff will show you how to use them and they will be collected every night to be washed. The unit are currently trialling terry squares and they are proving to be a resounding success with many parents opting to use them when they return home.

We are confident that trials will happen at Treliske Hospital before the end of 2005 ­ watch this space for details!
