Nappies - Facts

It’s a fact...

The statistics are alarming, disposable nappies account for 3.2% of the waste stream in Cornwall.
They could take hundreds of years to break down once put into a landfill site. A new baby in disposables can double the amount of a family’s rubbish. That is the direct effect disposable nappies have on our waste stream. This has a disposal cost that is ultimately paid for by the tax payer.
