2 – Use only non-bio washing powder to care for your nappies and your baby’s skin and never use fabric softener - it coats the fabric reducing its absorbency.

3 – Use nappy liners, paper ones can be flushed away, or use reusable liners made from fleece or silk.

4 – Use washable nappy wipes, you can buy some or make your own from an old cot sheet cut into squares.

5 – Dry outside in the sun to help naturally bleach the nappies and dew will naturally soften them.
